Wiltshire ACF have entered 2 teams this year and with the final weekend of the training completed, we only have two weeks till the Official Ten Tors event.
This weekends training took both teams again across the Dartmoor National Park on their longest training route so far.   Starting from Okehampton Camp they walked over 21km Postbridge and then a further 12km onto Princetown.   The weather was great, sun with light cloud.   Camping at Okehampton they set off again early Sunday morning for a12km walk.   This time the weather had taken a turn for the worse with cloud, hill fog and visibility on the tops of the tors virtually zero and eventually rain.
Once again both teams did very well and all prepared and looking forward to the event.
Everyone’s welcome to come along and support them.   This is a great event with other 400 teams taking place.   If you are unable to visit you can follow their progress on-line through the Ten Tors 2010 Web Site.
Team Name: Wilts ACF W38
Next training day - Saturday/Sunday 24th/25th April 2010.
