Colerne and Corsham Helicopter Experience Wed 29 Apr 09 Fourteen Cadets from Corsham and Colerne Detachments had a special treat on Wednesday 29th April.   A Lynx from 667 Sqn AAC paid a visit giving the Cadets the opportunity to see for themselves the local area from above.   The aircraft flew three sorties, each of around 20 minutes, leaving Colerne airfield and flying out towards the Bristol Channel.   From above 1,000ft Wales was clearly visible as were the cities of Bath and Bristol. Following the flights the Cadets had an opportunity to ask the crew questions regarding the Lynx aircraft and what it takes to become a pilot.
