Taking a break from their Half-Term Holiday, 20 2-Star Cadets from across Wiltshire Army Cadets took part in the Junior Cadet Instructors' Cadre at Tilshead Training Centre from Mon 16 Feb 09 to Thu 19 Feb 09. This Course is part of their 3-Star training.
Designed to enable Cadets to instruct other cadets at 1-Star Level, the course first honed their skills and understanding in Skill at Arms, Drill and Military Knowledge, Fieldcraft and Mapwork; then introduced them to methods of instruction; and finally gave them practice in a number of teaching periods each.
All Cadets performed very well with a high overall standard throughout. Confidence and skills have been enhanced considerably and a good time was had by all too!
