Corps of Drums Play Major Role in Remembrance 9 Nov 08 The first formal public event for Wiltshire Army Cadets' Corps of Drums took place on Sunday 9th Novemeber 2008 in Trowbridge.   Mostly drawn from Arakan Company and based and supported in Trowbridge, the Corps of Drums has been practising hard through most of this year.   From small beginnings, with enormous amounts of enthusiasm and sheer hard work they have developed to a superb standard as witnessed by The County Town. Much to the delight of the Veterans and the Townsfolk, the Corps of Drums marched through the town bringing an air of honour and pride to this annual event.   If you look carefully at the pictures, Major Alan Johnson - Officer Commanding Arakan Company - can be seen in the Band with a Tenor Drum!
