Adult Initial Training Course Penally (Summer Camp) 14-21 Aug 08 14 New Adult Instructors from across Wiltshire Army Cadets and 3 from Gloucestershire joined together in an Adult Initial Training Course (AITC) at Manorbier Range Facility during the Summer Camp at Penally. The course was run by 19 Cadet Training Team (CTT). During the course the Potential Adult Instructors (PAI) received training on Map Reading, Fieldcraft, Skill at Arms, Drill and Methods of Instruction and enjoyed an overnight exercise too. By the end of the course each PAI had instructed two assessed lessons successfully. The course was a great success and the top student was PAI Helen White (below right). We are hoping to keep this crop of new Adult Instructors in close touch with each other as they progress through their careers with Wiltshire Army Cadets.
